| Left the trail head at 7:00am. First one out on the trail. Hiked 2 easy miles along the Carbon River. Crossed the river on 3 small log bridges. Began the long climb. It took me 2 hours to reach Windy Pass, a 3400 foot ascent. The Deer flies were bad. A nice hike with few good views of the mountain. |
