Detlef Shrempf Charity Golf Tournament - June 21st 2010
My friend, Doug Johnson, was invited by Webasto to play in the Detlef Schrempf Foundations's Charity Golf Tournament. On the preceeding Friday they were short a player so they invited me to play. I met from Webasto, Andy Lampkin the local rep, Bob Qaardar from near Detroit and Rolf who was there from the corporate offices in Germany. Our group celebrity was supposed to be Spencer Hawes the Husky basketball star and current NBA player. He had been traded and missed the event because the team that he was traded too was giving him a physical. His replacement celebrity was the actress Karri Turner, best known for her six years on "JAG" the TV show. She was accupanied by Dori Bennett who was with Detlef's Tournament. We had a great time, taking full advantage of the drinks and spirits. We were 66, six under par as a team, way off the winning 58 score, but no group had as much fun as us.
